I have sent you an Screenshot of this machine from the book by e-mail. It describes exactly what the machine is used for, including examples of the manufactured packaging.
As I said – it is a slitting machine.

Maar daar lijkt deze snijmachine helaas niet in te staan…
This machine from Krause was used to slit cardboard after creasing, which are later, then stitched to a box. Therefore the knife is slit on both sides and the shaft in the middle. I have the same machine myself. There is a catalogue from Krause in which this machine is also described. If I still find this one, I will be happy to pass on the information to you via mail.

Het is mij nog niet helemaal duidelijk wat nu precies het principe is maar ik hoop dat u de catalogus nog kunt vinden en zodat ik wat meer informatie hierdoor krijg.
Gebruikt uzelf dit apparaat nog steeds? Zo ja waarvoor?

Lijkt mij een metaalsnijder met aanleg, voor zacht metalen platen tot maximaal 2 mm dikte

Plaatsnijder/schaar mee eens o.a. clichés haalde een stukje van ongeveer 3 mm weg om de plaat vlak te houden!
